Poem on Patriotism "We all are Indians first"

Hello Rhymers, If humanity is our first religion, then our nationality is our first identity. Whatever religious, regional, social or political prejudices we might have, they can not overpower our identity as Indians. No nation can be strong if its citizens do not take pride in their identity. And Indians are natural at nationalism as we have a rich multicultural heritage to be proud of. To c elebrate that spirit of Patriotism and Nationalism, here is a poem that emphasizes the need for all Indians to rise above religion, region, social indifference and political aspirations. Hello Rhymers! If life is uncertain, then my perseverance is certain. The only thing that is certain about life is it's uncertainty. While you march on the trails of time, be expectant of the challenges that this uncertainty, so consistently springs upon you. During this ordeal, there might be times when you might feel that the world is full of hatred, disputes, criticism and negativism. And you wish the world around you could change. That is the time when your faith, spirits and character would be tested. That is the time when you ought to realize that nothing is certain, and nothing is permanent. And that is the time you need to persevere with your unflinching zeal and passion. O ne who sees ray of light in the darkest of hour, fights through and triumphs all the tests of time. Punjabi Poem I ਮੇਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਮੇਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼...

Hello Rhymers, If Punjab is my birthplace, then whole India is my workplace. Punjabis have always been proud of and deeply connected with their culture and heritage, and yet they have been the torchbearers of Nationalism and National integration, as highlighted and vouched for by the annals of history. The first poem I ever composed was a Punjabi poem that I wrote as an 11 years old for SAIKAPIAN (Annual magazine of Sainik School Kapurthala). The piece was a disaster, and deservingly, it was rejected for publication (yeah it was horrible). After these 30 years, it's flattering to write something meaningful. Salute to the Martyrs... My Freedom is my Inheritance # Patriotic Poem

Hello Rhymers, If meek will inherit the earth, young Indians will inherit freedom. You can have your flesh and soul, iced with the wealth you got in inheritance, but if you don't have sovereignty, identity and freedom to visualise & realise your dreams, all you inherited is rendered nugatory. The values and ethos that our parents impart to us, and our rich cultural diversity & heritage are priceless inheritance, but the freedom that we have inherited from our freedom fighters and martyrs is vital. And for that, let's salute the valiant soldiers of our armed forces for braving all odds to protect the integrity and sovereignty of our nation. Last month, I had the honor and a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Siachen Base Camp, which is a soldier's gateway to Siachen. It was a divine feeling just to be there at the place that is the epitome of patriotism & valor. The hardships and pain these brave-hearts go through to secure & uphold our freedom

Hello Rhymers!!! One word that always originates from heart is 'Pride'. If my Love for nation is a Prejudice, then The Nation is my pride. Ever felt those moist eyes, numb voice and goosebumps while singing the National Anthem? Well, we share the same pride then. Whenever I think about the things that make me feel proud, my heart leads my mind to the plethora of India's diversity, be it geographic, cultural, linguistic, religious or racial. If you explore the history sheets, there are numerous accounts of unflinching valor, spiritual wisdom, literary distinction, scientific excellence and humanitarian benevolence to be proud of. And most striking of them all is the resolute fortitude of Indian soldiers. Whenever you need an inspiration to fight against all odds, selflessly and incessantly, look no beyond your soldiers. Stop Procrastinating! Just first step is most stiff... An Inspirational Poem (English poem on Procrastination)

Hello Rhymers!!! If fear is your worst enemy, then procrastination is your worst friend. Sir Isaac Newton was damn right, Inertia is universal. And there can be no better example than the quintessential human mind. The only catch is that our mind needs an internal force to break its inertia. Staying in our comfort zone is the most plausible option for our mind, who convincingly holds us back, by introducing us to a rogue friend named Mr. Procrastination. But the good thing is that it just takes the 'First step' to break this state of inertia. The people who succeed are not necessarily the ones who are the best in what they do, they are the ones who do it despite all odds, and are brave enough to take that vital 'First step'. Its just the first step that's the most difficult part. Once you take that first step, your inertia of action takes over, and if determined, takes you through.
